Poultry Federation of India (PFI), established in 1988, is the premier national-level organization representing the Indian poultry industry. As the voice of the sector, PFI is committed to the protection, welfare, and growth of the entire poultry ecosystem.
PFI’s mission is to preserve, promote, and support the efforts of all stakeholders—farmers, veterinarians, breeders, processors, consumers, and allied professionals—engaged directly or indirectly with poultry.
The federation actively engages with central and state governments to resolve key challenges faced by the poultry sector. It advocates for policy reforms, ensures stakeholder interests are protected, and fosters a collaborative ecosystem for sustainable development.
PFI also addresses the critical issue of protein malnutrition in India. Through educational seminars across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities, it spreads awareness about daily protein needs and encourages individuals to monitor their intake.
